One of AMI’s teams of the Relay for Life was recognized as a Bronze level team for donating over $2500 (actually raising $3132) to the American Cancer Society. All the money raised at the relay will be used for research and services to benefit those with cancer and their families.
Over the 2014 Holiday Season, AMI got into the Christmas spirit of giving. Team Members contributed toys for Toys for Tots, and food for the Marion Ministerial Alliance. Thanks to those contributions, AMI was able to donate 8 overflowing boxes to Toys for Tots and helped the Marion Ministerial Alliance fill 125 boxes for local families to have a Christmas dinner. AMI also donated 15 bicycles to the Williamson County Tourism Bureau for their bike give away for children throughout Southern Illinois. Finally, our AMI elves visited the Lighthouse Homeless Shelter to deliver adult gifts such as coats, gloves, personal care items, and games for their residents.
