This position requires the ability to facilitate, schedule, and track training (including ABS), conduct orientation training, have the ability to learn all required training for the manufacturing departments, the ability to lead DOJO team member’s, and the ability to learn and teach others. Other duties and responsibilities of the Shoko-Cho include: • Maintain quality, productivity, safety requirements, and open communication within department • Compile and review absence reports • Schedule vacation and man power requirements daily and weekly • Monitor and control scrap; implement scrap reduction activities • Direct 5-S activities • Ensure safe work environment through proper planning and enforcement of safety procedures • Set goals for man hour, piece, and defects • Develop, prioritize, and schedule line improvement activities • Control daily production and ensure accuracy in production recordings • Develop and train team members and Han-Cho’s. • Maintain quality levels by ensuring quality checks are performed regularly • Enforce policies fairly and accurately • Analyze production information for implementation of necessary countermeasures • Perform team member performance appraisals • Maintain a positive work environment • Perform other duties as assigned in order to ensure achievement of section, department, or company plan • Supervise and manage all team members in department We are seeking qualified candidates to fill a Shoko-Cho position listed above.
