Full Description:

Write process design specifications Analyze blue prints and interpret technical data Develop engineering plan (control plans, PFMEA’s, raw material specifications, process control parameters, CP calculations, etc.) Implement engineering plans by evaluating current situations Develop machine and tooling specifications Handle capital expenditure budget acquisition and control Procure machinery and tooling Develop schedule and coordinate activities of machinery and tooling suppliers Design equipment layouts for individual lines, cells, and zones Oversee manufacture of product for pre-production trials Train manufacturing members on new and improved processes Perform other duties as assigned in order to ensure achievement of section, department, or company plan The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.   • Ability to prioritize work load
  • Effective planning and implementation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Knowledge of machine mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, and materials
  • Effective trouble-shooting skills
  • Strong “hands-on” ability
  • Capable of reading and understanding schematics
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communicational skills required

Minimum Level of Preparation & Training Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical /Industrial Engineering or related work experience

  • Stop production for safety related issues
  • Authorize repair work
  • Initiate capability studies
